**Going to Sanctuary**
Martin is a beautiful senior Shepherd/Chow X with diminished hearing that needs to find a new forever home or rescue ASAP!!! He is 15, neutered and UTD on shots. Martin’s family is moving and cannot take Martin as the new place does not allow pets. It is breaking their hearts!

Martin has been a family pet since he was a puppy! He's great with children and people and he loves the outdoors. He has just been groomed and had his hair cut low for the summer. The longer his hair grows the more he has the Chow look. Oh yeah, he has a black tongue.
Please help Martin find a new forever home or rescue where he can spend his remaining years in loving arms! He needs to be rehomed before the last week in July!! If you find you are not in a position to help at the present time, please share and pass his information on quickly. Thank you.

OLD MAN ELMER WAS PICKED UP AS A STRAY AFTER SOMEONE CALLED IN THAT YOUNG KIDS WERE ATTACKING THIS POOR SWEET BOY WITH BRICKS. HE IS A FRIENDLY LITTLE GUY WHO DESERVES A LOT OF LOVE IN HIS GOLDEN YEARS.
He needs medical care but is not getting any. This is a high kill shelter and they have 700-800 dogs there and not enough help.

Friday is a beautiful, adult female, blind Shepherd X that is looking for her forever home or rescue NOW!!! Please help! If you find you are not in a position to help at the present time please share her information quickly. Her release date was 6/22 and the policy of this shelter is if a dog is picked up as a stray, they are held for 72 hrs before they are available for adoption. They do euthanize for cage space, illness or aggression, and if they are like other shelters the impaired are always the first to go!
We don’t have very much information on Friday, but did receive the following communication from Kathy who will be happy to help any reputable rescue with pulling and transport for Friday.
She has been there for a few days no one has come looking for her so she's ready to be adopted... She is almost 100 percent blind, but some of the volunteers think she can still see some shadows n such out of one eye. She looks like a shepherd mix, but has docked tail, weird I know. She appears to be middle aged, but waiting on confirmation about her age. She will follow the sound of your voice and she loves the comfort of sitting or lying next to you and being able to feel your touch. She goes in/out of the cage nicely, and doesn't seem bothered by other dogs. She is so scared in there.
