"Snow"

Snow's Companion
Surrendered Together
Please Crosspost for these two. Snow (deaf white shephard/husky mix) and his friend Molly were relinquished to Animal Control in Greeneville TN. These two have been partners for most of their lives. Snow depends on Molly for "Q's" as to what to do and who to trust. The family says they should go together. Snow is a neutered male about 2 yrs old and Molly is an unaltered female whose vetting will be sponsored if someone will take them. Snow know some sign language for "go, come and quiet".
They both got in to trouble when Molly dug out from under the fence with Snow trailing behind...and killed a goat. The father was going to kill them if his daughter did not take to Animal Control.
Snow is shy and does not like a leash around the neck. He will however let me touch him anywhere on his body. Molly is more outgoing and the alpha. They both are house trained but Snow prefers the outside. Both dogs are friendly. The previous owner is willing to talk to anyone who has questions about the pair. Please email me for the number if interested. Thanks on their behalf...423 257-8511 or email
I can't see her e-mail, but her name is Cheryl Horton. It is cut off cherylhorton357@????????
I am forwarding their pictures in 2 other e-mails.
This is a note from Janet Medcalf from Greenville:
A better contact would be for our local rescue who can pull if needed if they don't want to get it vetted by our low cost clinic for $65.
Both dogs show no aggression. Just scared. Hope this info helps.
They were relinquished but the other owner did not give any info on them.
Breed: White GSD/Husky {mix}
Age/Sex: Young/Male
Shelter in Greenville, TN
This sweet dog and his friend who were owner surrendered are now out of time. No local rescue has stepped up to help in Greenville, TN. He is listed as a Husky but looks more like a White GSD. He was supposed to be put down on Friday but was given a reprieve because someone said they would take a look on Monday. Then he could be gone.

The little red Shepherd mix can hear. The young male Shepherd/Husky mix is deaf. It would be great if they could be adopted together. If you have been looking for a deaf Husky, this may be the dog for you. An ideal situation would be an active family with older kids (or no kids) and a fenced yard.

ReplyDeleteSnow is now healthy and happy living in Los Angeles CA. He has been with us for just over two weeks and has become very attached. His new sister, a 12 year old cat, is still judging the situation but Snow leaves her alone and she goes her own way. We now have a dog who can not hear and a cat who will not listen and couldn't be happier.
