PTS DATE 7/17!!! NC, Newton "Denver" w/Cataract in one Eye **Adorable**

Denver is an adorable Peke X, with a cataract in one eye, about 8 years old, brought in as a stray and has a PTS date 7/17 and needs to find his forever home or rescue NOW!!! Please help!! If you find you are not in a position to help now, please share his information, passing it along immediately. Thank you. We received the following information:

UNALTERED MALE, TAN PEKINGESE, 8Y - Denver was brought in as a stray along with his brother, Dallas. He is very sweet and loves attention. He has some matted fur. He has a cataract in one eye. He is good with other dogs. He weighs about 12lbs. He must be out by 7/17. Due to the high volume of responses that we get from those of you who want to save animals, we kindly request correspondence by email only. Help with transportation may be available. To offer rescue placement to an animal on this list, you must email Jennifer. The group must fill out and submit the rescue agreement form and supporting documents, and be approved to pull from our shelter.

If your rescue group has never pulled from our shelter then we will need to approve your group to pull from us. We would need the attached rescue group agreement to be filled out and sent back along with a copy of your group’s 501c3 and a copy of your group’s adoption contract. Rescue group approval may take 24 hours or more depending contact to the references. Please remember to fill out the rescue group agreement entirely. Please do not wait until the “need out” date to begin the process of pulling an animal. We do not have the ability to be no-kill due to the large numbers we take in.

Our main method of contact regarding rescues is EMAIL. DUE TO THE NUMBER OF RESPONSE EMAILS, PLEASE ONLY RESPOND IF YOU CAN HELP PULL THE ANIMAL AND PLACE THAT ANIMAL’S NAME IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF THE RESPONSE EMAIL.
