Ms. Benson is a very friendly and smart standard poodle who is in need of a new home. Her owner has had a stroke, and loses her balance very easily. Because of this, she is no longer able to physically care for Ms. Benson.

Vet Info: Ms. Benson is spayed and current on rabies....she is next due 5/30/14. She has not had any other vaccines. She has not been heartworm tested. She is a healthy girl! Ms. Benson weighs about 47 pounds.
Owner Info: Ms. Benson's owner has had a stroke and loses her balance easily. It is difficult for her to care for Ms. Benson, especially in winter, with the heavy snow and ice. Ms. Benson has knocked her over. Ms. Benson is housebroken and leash trained, and knows many commands, including "sit", "stay", "find your bed", "off", and "down". Ms. Benson is good with men, women, and children, and other dogs and cats! She is very friendly and sweet. She has never shown any aggression and will let her owner take a bone right out of her mouth. She has cataracts in both eyes, and can no longer see out of the middle of her eyes, but does have peripheral vision. A floodlight in the yard helps her at night. She has been an active dog, but is settling down now. She's a wonderful girl and her owner is praying to find rescue for her.
