This is Sam, he is the sweetest little boy. He weighs 25 lbs. He was surrendered by his owner on 5/18/12 because they could not afford him.

He is sitting in the shelter at Lincoln County Animal Services with a damaged left eye. The shelter's vet said that Sam's eye needs to be removed. The shelter has no money for Sam's eye surgery so he sits in pain and waits for a kind soul to come along and take him out of there or for death as they will put him down. Poor Sam was an owner surrender, owner's stating that they could not afford him anymore.
