"Stevie Wonder"
Stevie Wonder is a very handsome boy who looks like he's smiling! Stevie is in a Wisconsin shelter and is looking for rescue....Poor Stevie was found running into the walls of the local casino.

Stevie Wonder got his name here easy he came in as a stray and is completely blind. So we wonder where he is from and we call him Steve. We were told of a dog running into the casino, but he wasn't going into the building he was crashing into the outside of the building scared. He has setted here very well and we feel it will be an easy transition for him to move on as he can become a reflection of whatever is around him, he responds so well to touch and scent. He is a remarkable dog that you just have to meet to get it. Call for more info 715-284-0251.

ReplyDeleteIf Stevie is no longer available please check the Wisconsin Adopt A Golden Retriever website at www.waagr.org. We have 2 wonderful blind dogs available for adoption. We don't usually place dogs out of state but we may be able to work something out. Both are male mixes, Sunny and Gage are their names.

I adopted a blind dog who became deaf after I adopted him. He lived a very happy long life. He was a chessie so he was scent driven and that helped him with his dual handicap. My motto is that it is my job to keep my dog safe. I kept Buddy safe!
