Update: Jupiter may be deaf Jupiter came from a dog hording situation. Now he deserves a home where he will get lots of individual attention and love. Jupiter is very sweet, affectionate and attentive and we think he will thrive in his new home. He is great with other dogs and kids so he would be a great addition to any family. Since hes had no guidance, he will need some training to learn how to be a great pet, but we know hell learn quickly. Come in and meet this gem! He is 1 year old and weighs 57 pounds. This dog is a guest at the Mendocino County Animal Care and Control shelter located at 298 Plant Road in Ukiah, CA. 95482. You can meet this dog or any of the dogs listed under Mendocino County Animal Care and Control by going directly to the shelter or making an appointment with the adoption coordinator by calling 707-467-6453. Although our usual adoption policy is, first come, first to get the dog , we do make special arrangements with people traveling long distances, so contact us to find out how to have a dog held for you. All dogs are spayed and neutered before they can go home with you. If you rent you must have written permission to have a pet. If you live in Mendocino County any dog you have now must be licensed. Shelter hours: Wednesday: 10-7 Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 10-5 Sundays Monday and holidays: CLOSED Adoptions must begin 1/2 hours before closing.
