"Blacky"
Blacky is a 13 year old OWNER SURRENDER. He is at the LaPorte Shelter and he needs someone to RESCUE or ADOPT him.
Poor baby can’t see very well. He could see that the gate to his kennel was open, but he ran into me once or twice and ran into the fence and the bench in the play yard. Maybe he sees shadows. I don’t think he can hear. Maybe his ears are in bad shape too, but ...I didn’t think to check. He can move around very well and enjoyed exploring the play yard and made round after round moving pretty quickly while smelling everything and going potty. After seeing him in person, I believe he is a border collie mix. His hair, what is left of it, is very soft and feathery.
