Simone is a super, super sweet beagle that was surrendered. We were told they couldn't afford a dog, but I'm sure it's because her eye sight has failed her and as a hunting dog it means she's 'worthless' to them. She's been in the shelter much too long and it's just ripping my heart out. She's a calm and quiet girl and gets along great with other dogs, cats and children. She leads fine on a leash, but is slow because of her failing eyesight. She's pretty much learned the layout of the shelter so she does pretty good there although she still once in a while will run into things.
I've waived her pull fee or adoption fee for an approved rescue or adopter. We are VERY VERY VERY rescue friendly and I'm always begging for more rescues to help us save lives! I'll do anything in the world in my power to get my fur kids to safety! If your rescue can take in Simone or if you're interested in adopting this sweet angel, please contact me immediately. We're incredibly over full and there's no way she will be adopted locally. She does need to go to an indoor only home or rescue because of the eye sight issue.
