Here's what I think about this boy - I think someone did this to him. Not an animal, but a human. Maybe his owner, maybe someone who thought it was fun to hurt a stray. I think he is going to lose the eye. He is scared, scared to eat in front of me (though he ate well), scared to have someone in his cage, scared to the point that he tucks his tail the entire time you are around, BUT a volunteer was able to pet him and even touch the swollen area. I just petted his back a little and felt him trembling the whole time. He is NOT aggressive! He is beautiful, eye issue or not, and he will need a patient home to help him overcome what has happened. Is there a rescue who can help him - he should not just go to an adopter right now. --Lynn Rotanz Criswell

4. ARRANGE FOR PROFESSIONAL TRANSPORT TO YOU.

Animals that are available now or strays whose time is up only have til 5 pm on Thurs & CAN BE KILLED ON FRIDAY MORNING (however they may be killed before then as needed for space & this is a heartsticking facility!)
