I know what you will say.....Who wants an eleven year old Rottie? I think I will see a show of hands in the crowd after I disclose a few facts about Liberty. Liberty was given into our care as the new wife of her long time owner has allergies to animal dender.... Liberty's master has only great things to tell us about her. He has owned her since puppyhood. Liberty has been very well cared for. She is healthy looking, wears a beautiful coat and her teeth afford her to eat kibbles without a problem....Liberty harbors a smiley face, wiggels her body and wags her little stump of a tail as soon as she sees a human appearing in her door or in the street. Her eyes look for yours. She is happy in crowds and seems to want to be part of the conversation. In other words, this highly affectionate girl is a socialite , Miss congeniality. Liberty walks gingerly , she seems very much housetrained. Although she has not lived with other dogs, she welcomes them when we meet them in the street. Liberty knows....of course, her basic commands and she shakes hands. She poses for the pictures. She is a star! Liberty won my heart . I am not the only one to feel that way about her. So...are you already convinced? She is the one...right? Liberty is at the Manhattan Care Center. She is all goodness and has the most lively spirit. Come and meet our girl. And take her home...

About Shelter:
DO NOT call and say you are adopting unless you truly intend on physically going to the shelter to adopt the dog. It ties up phones lines and is a waste of the staff's time to explain the adoption procedure over the phone for someone who is purposely not going to show up. They need every free second of their time to answer calls, assist actual adopters, process intakes, and care for the animals. More importantly, they will note the dog’s file that an adopter is en route which will prevent an actual adopter from saving the dog. This is considered a "fake adoption" hold and that is how dogs fall through the cracks and end up being killed.
For more information on adopting, please visit our website: urgentdeathrowdogs.org and click on “How You Can Help.” There are also helpful links with information on each main album description.
Please do not email for status updates... the only thing you will accomplish is spamming their in boxes and causing REAL adopter emails to go un-noticed
