NJ, Seaville "Ivy" Deaf Lab/Pointer X Puppy **Social Butterfly**

Ivy is an 8- month-old female Labrador-Pointer mix that is white with chocolate and charcoal spots. She weighs about 45 pounds, and Ivy is a special-needs dog because she is deaf. Her last owner was evicted and left her behind after moving out. However, even after being abandoned and being deaf, Ivy continues to be happy and good-natured, says shelter volunteers. She is energetic, playful and social. Ivy enjoys chasing balls and playing games. Since she is young and has a happy attitude, Ivy is very trainable. Her deafness will require a little more effort from a new owner, says shelter volunteers. Ivy can share a home with dogs, cats and children. Her adoption fee is $95, which includes micro-chipping, spaying and up-to-date vaccinations.
