SAFE!!XXX URGENT!! WV, Beckley "Sugar" Deaf PBT X **Returned to Shelter**

"Sugar" - ID# 119649

Update 4/17/12:

About a month ago I had posted a plea for Sugar a deaf girl who thru no fault of her own found herself and her pack mate Spice dumped at the local high kill shelter due to their "humans" not being able to afford to take care of them anymore. Well Sugar got adopted by a home with another deaf dog and Spice stayed behind. Seems poor Sugar got dropped off back at the shelter the other day due to a high energy toddler and two deaf dogs don't make for a good situation in a busy household. So again, here sit Sugar and Spice two nice girls who are sitting on death row waiting to be gassed to death. Don't get me wrong here, the shelter workers and volunteers do everything they can to get these babies adopted/rescued but not all are so lucky. Please help network these two fine ladies. Hopefully someone will make room for them. All shelter and contact information is listed below.

Poor deaf Sugar, taken from a bad situation along with her puppies and another girl Spice and dumped at this high kill gassing shelter. To further add "insult to injury" Sugar's pups were just weaned and taken by a rescue.......what the hell is wrong with them, they left momma behind to die in a gas chamber along with poor Spice!!!

Sugar - adult female - deaf - her puppies were just weaned from her and rescued already...Sugar and Spice were both pulled from a really bad situation.

Sugar's pull fee AND spay is sponsored and assistance with transportation is available.

Sugar and Spice do not have to stay together but Spice is also available. She is an adult female pittie mix - very frightened but coming out of her shell - came in with Sugar - both were taken from the home - bad situation!

**Please DO NOT contact the shelter about the gassing! It only makes them not want to work with rescues and is counterproductive. It is not the shelters fault. The shelter has no say in what form of euthanasia is used...that's chosen by their municipality, not the shelter.
