Ginger is approximately 10 years old and has been living outside, chained to a dog house for most of her life. She was discovered by a wonderful group in Detroit and they have been helping her. Ginger has recently seen the vet and has received all her shots. She is HW + and needs immediate treatment. Her treatment will be completely covered. If you know anyone that can foster or adopt this sweet girl please let me know immediately, I will personally transport her to Chicago and sponsor the remainder of her vetting. She deserves to live out her golden years with a loving family.
Hello! I know of a dog in need that I am getting the word out about- if there's a chance that you guys can help, please let me know, or contact her rescue worker. Ginger is a red pitty, about 10 years old & has lived on a chain outside in Detroit most of her life, blind in 1 eye (don't know from what), who had some infections that made her drop weight, and also tested heartworm positive. Her vetting has been 100% sponsored, and she is undergoing treatment. She is a healthy weight again, and after the heartworm treatment is completed, she has a clean bill of health. All medical & transport costs will be payed in full by her current rescue. She is still outside on the chain while receiving her medical treatment for the heartworm, as the rescue worker is unable to find foster. No money is needed for her- just a place to go to get her inside, and away from the mosquitos that gave her heart worm, so she can live out her golden years on a nice, comfy bed inside. Do you have room in the front office for another old girl to come in & relax while she looks for the perfect family, or could you crosspost to help find her a foster/ adoptive home? She is sweet, laid back, good with people, kids, and other dogs (waiting to hear back about cats). Here is a link to her rescue worker's FB page with a profile about her. Thanks so much for your time!
