Evaluator: Jeremy Handler: Anne Helper Dog: A0928936 Lalo walks calmly on the leash and was shy but friendly during the assessment - low body and tail, but trying to stay close. He was calm and relaxed during handling and had a low body position during the tag test, but followed the assessor at the end of the leash. Lalo was not interested in food, toys or rawhides and was relaxed when approaching the helper dog, but was not playful. Look: 1. Dog's eyes are averted. His ears are back, his tail is down, and he has a relaxed body posture. Dog allows head to be held loosely in Assessor's cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog's mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft or low, and a bit fearful. Squeeze 1/2: 2. Dog quickly pulls back. QARH H/L - grade iii heart murmur Amb x 4 Very nervous, trying to bite Small mass on rt flank Mass rt upper molar/premolar - soft tissue but surrounding teeth - unable to see teeth in this area.- teeth possibly missing. During exam mass was torn and started bleeding - had to sedate to check and stop bleeding Nails clipped at same time Rec NH placement Start on clavamox 62.5 mg - 1 tab bid x 10 days + hydromorphone 0.15 ml bid x 5 days
