 Mozart is a funny little pitty with the cutest short legs and long body! He almost looks like a pitty/corgi mix! He is very sweet and loves everyone he meets as well as other dogs! He is full of love and ready for his new forever home!

Please fill out an application if you'd like to jumpstart the adoption process. No appointment is necessary to come in and meet/adopt an animal. If this is for a special adoption event, which would be noted above, please follow the special instructions, otherwise, just bring your completed application with you! You may fill out an application at the shelter as well. Please note we do NOT hold animals, nor do we accept deposits in advance. Even if you have discussed coming in to meet a animal, this does not guarantee...

All animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate) and come with a free 7 day Vet check from a participating Vet! Our hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday's 1pm-4pm. High Kill Shelter Rescues, both Puppies and Adults are $325, All Puppies are $325 and Local Stray Adults over 1 year of age are $130.

  2. why does this shelter charge a fortune to get their animals adopted? It seems to me they do that on purpose so that they have a reason to kill each and every animal

  3. The "shelter" doesn't charge a fortune..
    And technically, many of the Rescues who have an adoption fee that may seem a bit high, are dealing with the overhead of the 3,000 other animals everyone is pleading with them to make room for ath the last possible minute.. often with health problems or at a minimum, in need of some for of meds.
    Running a Rescue, isn't easy or free, despite what many think. ~ Spike Cutolo on FB (not REALLY anonymous)
