UPDATE 4/11:Sweet FREDDY is doing wonderful. His culture came back and unfortunately he has a MRSA Staph infection on his face. The antibiotic he was on was working for the parts of his body that did not have MRSA but not for the other areas. His antibiotic has been changed and we are seeing great results on the new one. He is being closely monitored to make sure we do not have any organ problems since he has been on the new antibiotic. He still has some edema on his face but nothing compared to how he was when he first arrived. Freddy is out of pain and is the happiest little puppy. He literally plays until he is exhausted, sleeps like a bear and eats like an elephant. In other words, he is acting like a typical puppy. He will be in the hospital for about 4 more weeks while he is healing. He will then be ready for his new home. If you are interested, please fill out the application below. Thanks for caring about our sweet little Angel.

"Freddy"
Please help Freddy! Freddy just came into the shelter and needs to leave today! Freddy is about 7 weeks old and some type of lab mix.
Freddy has burns on the face and neck which we believe are chemical burns. Most of the burns are on the face and neck- He has some mild ones on the testicles and some irritation on all 4 paws.
If you can rescue Freddy, he needs to leave today and get to a vet!

what an adorable baby. How could someone do something so horrible to such a loving animal. People like that should be taken out back and have the same thing done to them and see how they like it--bastards. I hope someone will adopt him I would but I live to far away and have 4 wonderful girls of my own and a kitty too. Good luck Freddy hope you find your forever home really soon.

i hope whoever did this to that beautiful little baby gets prosecuted to the fullest.
ReplyDeleteThis baby is now with a rescue...Noah's Ark Rescue. They are treating the burns, and they don't believe his eyes are burned, but the eye lids are...which could affect his vision. Google noah's ark rescue to keep up with him.
