Reggie is located in Bullhead City, AZ.
First of all, let me say I scoured your website and you people are AMAZING. Thank God for organizations like yours! You are truly doing a great service for God's creatures.
The reason I am contacting you is because I have a male Dachshund I need to find a home for. My husband has been out of work for over a year and we are losing our home and we going to be forced to find something to rent. We have 3 dogs and we are only going to be able to keep one, and we are planning on keeping the one we've had the longest, and also feel she would be the most difficult to find a home for.
I have a friend willing to take one of them, but the third (Reggie) I haven't been able to find a home for. Reggie is a beautiful double dapple, mostly white with dapples the color of cookie dough ice cream on his rear and his head. He gets a lot of attention (at the dog park) because of his markings. Reggie was born mostly blind - he will be four years old on April 30th. He has a small bit of vision in one of his eyes and gets around perfectly well. He is kennel trained and knows how to use a dog door. We have had him since about 6 weeks old. He has a LOT of energy and he needs lots of attention. He was raised with kids and other dogs but when he is around dogs he doesn't know he doesn't react well initially but after a day he is fine (I learned this from family visiting). He is also fine around cats and LOVES kids and people of all ages. I think he would do really well with someone who had lots of time to spend with him.
