Nichole is a sweet 5 yr old blind lab who is in despearate need to get out of the shelter. Below are some pictures and the information from Nichole's petfinder link. I've been in touch with Dawn Croft the dog warden from Columbiana County about her. Nichole was scheduled for euthanasia on February 1st. She is way past her deadline and in desperate need. They are earnestly trying very hard to find her rescue/adoption. Please share Nichole's information with your contacts.

Hello my name is NICHOLE (5yrs & 46lbs). Hi everyone, well I am back here as a visitor to the adoption center. I got adopted and was doing very good in my new home except for one thing, my new mommy said that I had a bit of seperation anxiety and the neighbors were threatening to call the police people on her because I barked a little bit when she left me home alone. I didn't mean to be any trouble at all, I just have grown so fond of people that I really like it when they are around much better than when I am alone. I have made many huge improvements since I've been gone however. I have gained some much needed weight, I walk around tall and proud on a leash now instead of the belly crawl I had become accustomed to. I come up and greet people and love to be pet and meet new people. I still love all the other dogs and I have found a new love for babies, there was a grandchild in the house and I had grown quite fond of her. I have really, really come around since I first came into the dog pound. The girls here could barely believe I was the same girl. I am still a pretty timid little thing but so much has changed since I last talked to you. So since I have come around so much from the beginning, I thought maybe if you would consider giving me another chance for a good life I could get past any hurdle I may have with a little help from you. Please come down and meet the new me, you really wouldn't be disappointed! But anyway here is my first story from the beginning................I am a very sweet shy girl here at the pound that would really, really love to find a person who can accept me the way I am. I am a little backwards, I love people but am always expecting the worst from them. I really open up when there is another dog around, I trust my furry companions more than the not so furry ones. I have a bad eye that I can no longer see out of which may explain some of my hesitency. Some really nice lady found me in her barn and took care of me for a week before she called the girls here to come and get me. She said I was so thin she was worried I couldn't survive the car trip. I am slowly putting weight back on, I love feeding time, I am a very hungry girl. I have a huge heart and I am trying to learn this new stuff from these nice girls here. I am doing much better on a leash too. I spend alot of my time belly crawling on the floor when people are around but when I think nobody is looking I love to go exploring. I know I don't look the best, I am way too thin and boney and I have a bum eye and am timid but I would make a wonderful family member for someone who would be willing to love me no matter what. So please just come in and meet me before you cast any judgment on my looks, I am truly worth it!NICHOLE appears to be in good health and has been given her parvo/distemper vaccine and wormed for 3 days with Pancur.
She is schedule to be euthanized on:February 1***UPDATE***NICHOLE HAS RECEIVED A FULL SPONSORSHIP TO ANY APPROVED RESCUE TO COVER HER VETTING/ADOPTION FEES.

Our adoption fee is $100.00 CASH WHICH INCLUDES HER NEUTER, PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, CURRENT YEARS OHIO DOG LICENSE, AND SHE WILL HAVE BEEN WORMED FOR 3 DAYS. The Ohio dog license will be honored throughout the state of Ohio until the end of that current years license.
