I am a volunteer with Toledo Humane Society and we have adog we are looking for a rescue for. I was wondering if you might have had a spot open from the weekend : ) She has been all fully vetted/spayed/microchipped/temp tested. Please let me know if you think you take one/more in :) She needs to be out ASAP so please let me know if pic doesnt come through.. :)
Sprite- a 1yr. old boxer mix who is in urgent need of a rescue to take her. She is a sweet girl who loves people and most other dogs. She is afraid of cats, but doesn't go after them. She is not doing well in the shelter. In her cage, she goes after dogs. One of our animal care workers took her home to see how she would be in a home environment, and she did great. She got along with the employee's pit bull, labradoodle, boxer, and 2 small poodles. She also was in the home with cats and she did fine. She is deaf, which is making it even harder to find an adoptive family. Unfortunately with her behavior in the shelter, we can only give her 1 week to find a rescue before we will have to humanely euthanize her. Please let me know as soon as possible if you would be able to help us with her.
