SAFE!! XXX URGENT!! IL, Chicago "Sweetie" Blind PBT X

Sweety is a blind 10 year old Senior that was reported lost in December 2011. We spotted her today at Animal Control. She was brought into the shelter on 1/21/11. Her previous owners will not claim her; they signed a no pet least last month. Could anyone help give her a warm place to stay? She's truly a sweet dog and deserves to spend her remaining years safe and loved.

This poor blind dog, a stray, has found her way to Chicago Animal Care & Control, and she may not have much of a chance there.... Her name is Sweetie...


The Transfer Team leader is Alycia Hayes, who can be reached at amhayes@yahoo.com. She's the one who can help arrange transfer for rescues....
Apparently, Sweetie has a chip, and it looks like it was listed to someone in Missouri. It looks like CACC tried to contact whomever the chip was listed to, and follow the rabies tag, but no one has come forward for her.

This is all of the info I have on Sweetie right now, but please network to help her find rescue! I will update as soon as possible with any more information.
