***RESCUED BY BLIND DOG RESCUE ALLIANCE**
Poor Mosley is a friendly young beagle with PRA - he is not completely blind yet, but is expected to become completely blind. Please read about Mosley below:
To Whom It May Concern:
I volunteer for the Humane Society of Whitley county located 20 min west of Fort Wayne, IN in Columbia City.
I thought I would contact you regarding Mosley. Here is a link to his petfinder page...
http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/22286934 (we were going to try to adopt him out with his vision impairment, but now he has tested positive for heartworms...so a rescue is really his only hope)
I am hoping that you will be able to help him. He is an ~1-year-old Beagle who we believe has PRA-Progressive Retinal Atrophy. He was recently surrendered to our shelter, and we would love to have a rescue take him in because he will most likely become completely blind. He can see right now, we just aren't sure how well. He passed his temp test just fine, and results are available upon request. He loves people and other dogs alike. Can you help this sweet boy? If you are able to help, please contact Lindsay Pease (shelter director) at 260.244.6664.

All of our dogs are up to date on vaccinations, given prescription strength wormer and flea preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. All dogs are temperament tested prior to becoming available for adoption. Individual results of these tests are on file at the shelter.
