XXX URGENT!! CA, Lake Isabella "Harley" Deaf Boxer Puppy

HARLEY - ID#A874933

My name is HARLEY.
I am a neutered male, white and black Boxer.
The shelter staff think I am about 9 months old.
I have been at the shelter since Jan 10, 2012.

While calling the Kern River Valley Shelter to check on another dog (who has been rescued), I leaned about this sweet boxer pup that is in need of rescue. Deidra at the Kern River Shelter is begging for help for this sweet boy who is deaf.

Harley is a 9 month old deaf, white male boxer pup that is AMAZING and desperately needs adopter or rescue.
Harley was surrendered by his owner, he came in very skinny, but has gained weight since being at the shelter. The owners turned Harley in because they also have a 5 lb chi, and Harley was playing with the Chi and the Chi got injured, NOT due to aggression, it was purely play, but Harley got the boot.

Harley is housebroken, very playful, great with all people, kids, loves other animals, just a big ole playful pup- Harley is a favorite among all the shelter workers and volunteers and very much want him to be rescued and adopted by someone who understands that he is a big ole puppy with a lot of playful energy, and who understands having a deaf dog.

Please contact the amazing people at the Kern River Valley Shelter at 760-378-1131

(please note this is NOT the KERN Shelter in Bakersfield, this is the shelter in Lake Isabella) – Sometimes they can transfer a dog to the Bakersfield Shelter for you to pick up, if that is easier to arrange for transport.
