SAFE!!TN, Clarksville "Noah" Senior with Diminished Sight and Hearing

HELP! I am posting this very early on to try to ensure the safety of a soul very dear to me. Pictured here is a old soul we call "Noah". We do not know his actual name. He was picked up as a stray and taken to Montgomery County Animal Control in Clarksville, TN late last week. His owner knows he is there, but there has been no response (NO judgment about this, please!!); Noah is still in Animal Control.

He is very old (perhaps as old as 15 although his teeth look great) and is not doing well on the concrete floor. He does not understand about bedding (probably lived his entire life outdoors) and just pushes it away. He cannot see or hear very well and startles easily; he is NOT aggressive but unsure of his environment and generally uncomfortable where he is.

This is my plea tonight: I will get him out and update his vaccinations myself is someone will agree to give him a wonderful, quiet home to rest in for however many Golden Years this dear boy has left--no expectations placed on him; just rest and love. Someone has also offered to have him bathed if someone will take him home.

He is old. He is scared. He needs a new home. I have met him; my heart just broke for him. His hold time will be up early next week, and I am desperately scrambling to put a plan into place in the event that his owner does not come to get him. An adoption application will have to be completed and approved. No adoption fee will be expected; only a restful home full of love for "Noah".

Please e-mail us at tndeathrowdogs@gmail.com if you can help "Noah". ~ Tonya
