Several of us were blessed to meet Marco this weekend. I say blessed because Marco is one of those pups who reminds us of the selfless, forgiving nature of our precious pups. Marco is our inspiration, not only to save pups but to become better people.
Marco came into the shelter having been shot in the face with bb's. He also has entropion, for which he will require surgery, and an old broken leg that was never fixed properly. On top of all of that, he has mange (for which he is being treated) and he is HW+. Despite ALL of this, what does Marco do? Does he shy away from people? NO! Is he aggressive? Not even close! He LOVES people and just wants to be held and loved. Every one of us who met Marco this past weekend was so moved by this beautiful creature. We MUST save him!

This beautiful pup is located in a HIGH KILL environment! PUPS in this shelter are considered to be URGENT at ALL TIMES as pups are killed whenever space is needed.
OUT-OF-STATE Rescues and Adoptions are WELCOME !
We have a TRANSPORT who is ready, willing and able to transport these precious pups north.
