Things just do not seem to be getting easier this winter. We have blind dogs, deaf dogs, newborns. Hard to get in the holiday spirit when you face homeless death row animals daily.
Grandpa is blind, can you belive this teeny tiny Poodle was wandering around stray!?!? I have no idea what the heck is wrong with some people. Grandpa is a tiny chocolate Poodle. He is very spunky and full of life, just blind.
He came in so matted he could barely move. We have gotten most of his mats off but he still needs a professional hair cut.
This boy loves to snuggle, he never potties in his cage, and he desperately needs a safe loving home for the holidays.
PLEASE help us save his life.
If you call the shelter ask for Robin. She is very devoted to Grandpa and takes care of him while we wait for his forever family.

We are very rescue friendly and are more than happy to work with any rescue group as long as the group has a valid Georgia Department of Agriculture license! Any rescue group, whether in or out of state, that takes pets from Georgia shelters, is required, by Georgia law, to have a rescue license issued by the Georgia Department of Agriculture's Animal Protection Division. Having tax exempt status is not the same as a license. For more information on obtaining a license, please call (404) 656-4914.
