never giving up hope... looking into every face for her owner's smile...
waiting patiently for in the park for 10 days for that owner to return!
No one ever did return for Betty Lou--she was simply dumped!
Now this loving soul will lose her life if a rescue does not come forward for her quickly.
Betty Lou came to our shelter as a stray, she was found in a large inner city park and has been patiently waiting for her owner for the last 10 days. No one has come for poor Betty Lou and we are desperate to get her out of here. We estimate her to be around 12 years old. She has cataracts and several growths on her body. We are also now treating her for kennel cough. Betty Lou is house trained and enjoys her gentle walks in the sunshine.
We know there isn't much hope of an adopter for her but she is such a gentle old soul I just had to put out a plea for her. If you can help give Betty Lou the ending she deserves please let us know immediately.
