Megan's Story...
Megan found herself at a not so nice place. The high-kill shelter. Even though they gave her food and shelter her time was running out. She was horribly thin, had skin issues due to flea bites and also is deaf. Smiling K9's saw past all that and wanted to save her. So we did.
After coming into rescue we had some struggles with sickness that comes along with being at the shelter. She pulled through and is happy and healthy and ready for a new forever home. Her skin issues have just about all cleared up and is well on her way to a healthier weight.
Her foster Mom says that she is real quiet and an all around great dog. Yes, she is deaf, but with the little clap of the hands, as long as she sees you she comes. She's a cute little thing and probably won't get too much over 30lbs. In her foster home she is great with the other dogs (both male & female), cats and kids ages 4 to 15.
