Time if of the essence here. The litter just came into the shelter yesterday and since there are so many puppies besides this litter at the shelter they don't know how long they have....may not even be kept around thru the weekend!! All contact information is listed below as well as a video.
Thanks for emailing. The litter of 10 puppies was brought in today and the owner 'said' they are Lab/Mastiff mix...but they appear more Aussie or Cur mix to me. I have attached pictures of the 2 that are blind or partially blind. One appears to have one eye that may have vision but I'm not really positive. You can also see them in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8N4dvOnlOQ
The information on this shelter is below. I maintain their website/email/Facebook. The shelter director will be there from 10-4 on Saturday but he's by himself that day so it's hard for him to catch the phone if plan to call. He usually refers rescues/rescuers to a local group, PAWS of NE Louisiana www.pawsnela.org, who I am also with. Our group does pull dogs from the shelter and tries to get them into rescues.
I honestly don't know how long the shelter plans to keep them as they are very crowded and have lots of puppies right now. I left the shelter director a message tonight telling him I had posted them on Facebook and that people may be calling about them or coming by...so hopefully he will keep them at least through the weekend. There is also a risk of them getting sick as they do see parvo often at this shelter unfortunately.
