Hi. We spoke last week and you told me that you place senior dogs. I am in need of a home for Casey and would love your help in finding her a place where she will be loved as much as she loves.
I have had Casey since 2000. She was a rescue dog from the pound and we fell in love at first sight. When I went to have her spayed she also was diagnosed with heart-worms--which we cured. The vet at that time said she was barely a year old--which puts her between 11 and 12 right now. She has been a great companion for me and my kids all of her life. She is a cattle dog so she is nosy, yet personal. She is protective of the ones she loves and has had many other dogs living with her as the years have passed. I have raised two children, been through a divorce, and attended night school to get my Masters over the years and Casey has always been there with an enthusiastic tail wag and all the love anyone could ask for. We had to take out one eye because it contracted some disease that was irreparable. Her other eye is piercing blue and looks into your soul, as if she knows what you are thinking--which she does. She is gentle with kids and will sit at your feet wherever you go.
I want to find her a home as where I am living now there is already an alpha dog that is possessive and I don't want Casey's retirement to be one where she is at odds with another dog. Any help in finding Casey a good home would be greatly appreciated--Casey deserves it. I have attached a photo. If there is anything else you need you can email me at this address.
