TX, Lubbock "Ginger" Deaf Red Heeler

Cattle Dog Mix: An adoptable dog in Lubbock, TX
Medium • Adult • Female

Deaf Female Red Heeler approx. 1-3 years old. She would be a wonderful companion animal and must be indoors for her safety. She is extremely intelligent and loyal. She is able to sit on signal command and is well mannered on the leash with minimal touch cues. A small adoption fee is required as she has been spayed, heartworm tested, vaccinated, and micro chipped.
I just talked to Sandy at Saving Grace Rescue. Ginger is not eating much, but none of the dogs are, probably due to the heat. She seems depressed. She will be taken to the vet on Tuesday to rule out any physical problems. She is a very sweet, easy going, no behavioral issues at all, very friendly, and needs a home, adoptive or foster, ASAP, or "we may have to think of doing something else." You know what that means!

Ginger has been fostered a couple of weekends a month by another person, but the lady works long hours and won't be fostering her again probably until September.
