SAFE!!MN, Detroit Lakes "Frank" Almost Blind Dwarf Lab

Please read below about Frank an almost blind yellow labrador retriever. He is the product of a puppy mill so he is considered a dwarf breed. Frank has been at the shelter for a while. Actually his information was sent to me and I had sent some questions back to Rachel at the shelter. Then a day later a message was sent that there was a pending adoption so he didn't get posted out. Well now everything has fallen thru for this poor boy and Rachel has gotten back in touch with us to ask if we can post him out to everyone. Please look at this pictures and read the below information. Also, please share Frank's information with any of your contacts as he is in need of getting out of the shelter and placed in a forever home.

Description: Hi there! My name is Frank! I came into the Humane Society as a stray. I was found in a snow bank on a very cold day. I have been on my own for a while now. I have poor eyesight so if I am somewhere new I will run into things until I know my way around. I use my nose more now since my sight isn?t all there. I am a very sweet dog. The sound of your voice gets me all excited and I will wag my tail happily. I like to be near you and get attention. I like to have a rawhide of my own to keep me busy. I get along with children and some other dogs. I know how to sit and I am housebroken. I have been down a pretty rough road over the last few months, so I would love to find a family to become a part of. I can?t wait to meet you and I hope to be moving into my new home today!

Other: Frank is considered a dwarf breed. He has issues with his joints and will have arthritis when he is older. He has poor eyesight and will run into things if he is not familiar with his surroundings. Surgery may be an option in the future, but will require a medical specialist. Frank is a sweet heart of a dog who will need extra tender loving care throughout his life, as he will have medical issues and need frequent medical attention.
