Belle (Petraits attached) is a happy, sweet, energetic, and friendly, 79-pound (chubby), two-year-old, female, deaf American Bulldog looking for a loving guardian. Belle is bi-eyed; she has one blue eye and one brown eye.
Poor Belle was found wandering stray in the city of Chicago. It is thought she was kicked off her duty as a guard dog because she is deaf and very friendly – not much of a guard dog.
Belle is very strong, but really good on leashed walks, and good with other dogs. Sometimes when you raise your hand she flattens down to the ground as if she’s been beaten. She has started training in hand signals, and is looking for a patient, loving and strong handler.
Belle is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested.
