PA, West Chester "Bailey" Blind Collie X

Here's Bailey, a senior spitz/collie mix from West Chester, PA. She was an owner turn-in at the SPCA. Her companion has been adopted, but not her! She misses her home and companion!

My name is Kaity Dempsey and I am a Foster/Rescue Coordinator from the Chester County SPCA. Our shelter is currently going under construction. Bailey is an older Spitz/Collie mix girl, who was a surrender, whose owner said that she had once had a stroke and now has a head tilt because of it. Her eye sight was also affected by this. I don't believe Bailey is completely blind, but she does definitely have a lot of difficulty seeing and will need an experienced owner to "show her the ropes around the house." Bailey is housebroken and also gets along very well with other animals, as she has lived with an older companion for years now. Sadly, Buddy, her Lab companion, was just adopted a few days ago and now Bailey is really missing him. Bailey is a very quiet, sweet and gentle girl, who is very much in need!! Because of her quiet nature and her trouble seeing, the fast movements of young children make her nervous. Is there any way you may have space for her?

From her webpage: I am here with my friend Buddy. We were brought to the shelter to find a new for ever home because our previous owner was losing their home and no where to keep up. I am about 13 years old. I am very cute and my head tilts and that is just part of my charm. I still have a lot of energy and love being with people. Please meet with me.
