Meet Maddie, a sweet deaf girl who has the softest eyes we’ve ever seen. Maddie came to us very neglected and in need of medical care. In great shape today, this American Bulldog mix is constantly happy, as evident by her endlessly wagging tail. Maddie is a real beauty and is a very well behaved girl. We estimate her to be 6-8 years old. This hearing impaired girl knows “sit” and “paw” commands—check out her video on the Daily Times Web site. She walks well on a leash and does not jump up. She simply wants to be loved and petted for the rest of the many years she has ahead of her. Maddie could live with small children and because she is deaf, she must go to a home with a dog. Maddie loves being outside; she would have rolled around in the fresh spring grass for hours if we had let her. She will make some lucky person or family a loyal friend for many years to come.
