Flip Flop is a senior beagle/Pug mix that just arrived at Homestretch Hounds from a rural high kill shelter. Flip Flop has spent his life until now chained to a dog house. This is especially sad given the fact that Flip Flop is blind. Flip Flop is the sweetest boy, he loves everyone. Flip Flop had a rough life up until now, he deserves to know that life can be good! Flip Flop loves a soft bed, he loves people, and melts with a tummy rub!
We are trying to raise the money to take Flip Flop to a veterinary eye specialist. This would provide for an evaluation to determine if surgery is an option for removing Flip Flop's cataracts and restoring his vision. Cataract surgery would be an expensive surgery, but it would increase Flip Flop's quality of life beyond what could be imagined.
