Here is an update on Bull the American Bull Dog in the City of Lafayetter Animal Shelter....he has been slated for euthanization on the 22nd....not too much time left for him...please send to all you know.

Hello All,
I'm writing to you about an American Bulldog name Bull. He is in the City of Lafayette Animal Shelter in Lafayette, Tennessee. Bull's story is pretty much the same that we always hear about dogs being turned into the shelter or being a stray except that Bull has found a caring angel, Officer ReJena Parker. She has taken a special interest in Bull and wants desperately to get him out of the shelter and into a rescue or better yet a loving home. As we have not been able to find a foster for him, I promised Officer Parker that I would help her to spread the word about Bull so that someone out there having the facility or ability to foster him would step forward to save his life. That is another problem, two days after writing to us about Bull's situation Officer Parker was told that he only has until the 22nd of this month to find rescue or he will be put to sleep. And that is what Bull needs, to be taken into a rescue. He is blind in one eye and has limited vision in the other but that does not stop him from being a loving, happy boy. Please read Officer Parker's own words about Bull in her emails below. If there is a chance that you could offer him rescue and the opportunity to begin his journey onto a new life to be a loving pet for someone please call Officer Parker. Bull is a bull dog, male, 2 yrs old, blind in one eye. He came to the shelter (Lafayette, Tn.) 2 days ago. The shelter here is a kill shelter. I am a police officer here. I saw Bull when I was at the shelter. He is a
great dog,. Kid friendly, plays, loving and extremely kind. If you folks could help me get him into a shelter I would certainly appreciate. I am not an animal control officer, however I can stand to see him put down. He is full of love.
