SAFE!! URGENT!! TX, SULPHUR SPRINGS: Lab Mama and Puppies (one blind)

A PRECIOUS FAMILY DUMPED LIKE TRASH!!!

An urgent plea for a miracle

Hello All...

I’m desperately searching for help for this very sweet momma and her eight (4 week old) babies who were heartlessly dumped like trash.

Unfortunately, their time is up at the shelter and my heart is hurting at the thought of putting them down.

I’ve temporarily moved them to a volunteer’s house in hopes that this amazing network can work their magic to find help for them.

If they’re not rescued or adopted soon they’ll have to be returned to the shelter and they just don’t deserve that.

They’re such a precious family and have already been through so much.

At first, all I found were the puppies, alone, scared and not eating.

Apparently, the momma had gone out desperately looking for food. When I finally found her, she was running down the highway near the shelter. I could tell she was starving, thin and terribly stressed but thankfully she trusted me and let me rescue her. This dear momma loves her babies and was so happy to be back with them.

The momma is an absolutely wonderful girl, great around other dogs, appears to already be house trained, and is so very gentle and loving toward everyone she meets.

She literally appears to be thankful to have been rescued and cherishes being loved on.

The stress though that she’s been under has caused her milk to dry up and a volunteer is having to help feed the pups.

They’re drinking goats milk and eating canned puppy food and fortunately, they’re all doing great and absolutely adorable.

One of the yellow pups appears to have an issue with her eyes.

*I had the vet examine her and one eye may be smaller and undeveloped while the other eye’s eyelid is turned inside. He gave us some cream to put on it and she’ll need to be seen again in two to three weeks. If the eyelid
doesn’t turn out it can be easily fixed though with a simple surgery. It could be this sweet little girl may turn out to be partially blind and then again she may be just fine. It’s too early to tell but either way, it’s not going to keep her from being a wonderful dog and leading the happy life she deserves.*

Please...I’m reaching out to this incredible network to find a miracle for this very precious family.

They deserve a chance to live!

Call or email as soon as possible if you can help and please share!!

Thank you for caring!
