SAFE!! URGENT!! GA, Decatur: "Ace", Blind Cane Corso

I was really hoping national corso rescue would respond but I haven't heard anything from them (not complaining - I know we're all full right now) and this guy is beyond out of time. If anyone can please help Mr. Ace, the shelter needs to know immediately - and please let me know, too! I can help drive him wherever he needs to go.

Ace was found by a family in Decatur and surrendered to the shelter two weeks later, when no owners surfaced to claim him. I suspect he was put out. He is an insanely sweet black (slightly brindled) corso, very calm and trusting. Guessing about a year old by his teeth. The family that found him had two kids and he was very relaxed with them. Unfortunately, he is mostly - if not entirely - blind and needs to see a vet to find out what exactly is going on with those eyes. He is SUCH a love, though, and walked into the shelter so trustingly ... he will even let you guide him as he walks, and he already knows a few basic commands. He seems to think he is a lap dog. ;)

PLEASE crosspost, and if you can help, contact Officer Martinez ASAP:
