OH, Georgetown: URGENT! Handsome, Blind Husky Mix Needs Rescue/Foster. Please Help!

Update 6/17:
Going to no-kill shelter on Friday if no home is found.

Meet Solomon...This beautiful husky mix is almost a year old, 78 lbs, and a wonderful dog. He was in a gassing shelter and was going to be euthanized, but a kind woman stepped in to rescue him so he wouldn't have to suffer. The woman that took him, however, doesn't have the room for him, so he is currently in a boarding facility. Solomon really needs either a foster or a rescue to take him in. The vet checked him out and he believes he has congenital cataracts that can be corrected with surgery. They think he can see a little bit out of his left eye - and can definitely detect shadows. The woman also paid out of her own pocket to get Solomon neutered, and completely up to date on his vaccinations. He was tested for Heart Worm and is HW negative. Recently, he was also tested for diabetes and he doesn't have that either.

This boy really loves people and does well with other dogs. He is a very affectionate guy and knows when you're around. Also, he went on a walk with another dog and he did well on the leash. He does enjoy playing, and has energy, but is by no means a high maintenance dog. This handsome boy does very well in a crate and has not had an accident in there yet. He is an all around good dog; he just needs TLC.
Solomon will be one in May, and for the first year of his life, he was chained up to a tree in a backyard. He was turned in to the shelter because he “kept breaking the chain”. This boy deserves a second chance and to finally know the joys of being a spoiled rotten, inside dog. His foster mom is desperate to help him in any way she can, and is willing to help with transport.

UPDATE!! Poor Solomon can't seem to catch a break. The boarding facility where he was staying was sold, and the new owner doesn't want "rescue" dogs staying there. Solomon, along with 2 other poor homeless pups, were kicked out. He is back at his rescuer's home, but she is unable to care for him due to the amount of rescue dogs she has already. She cannot afford another boarding facility for him and at this point is out of options!! Can you turn poor Solomon's luck around and give this sweet soul a break?
If there's anyone that can help this gorgeous boy,
please contact his temporary foster mom
